- Strategic Procurement:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimise costs while ensuring quality and efficiency in logistics operations
- Craft, manage, and run procurement tenders, ensuring a competitive selection process
- Conduct vendor evaluations, negotiations, and selection to drive cost savings and performance improvements
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to secure long-term strategic partnerships
- Develop and enforce procurement policies and compliance standards
- Project Management (Automation & Infrastructure Investments):
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Monitor and report on project progress, proactively identify and resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with legal, finance, operations, engineering, and regional leadership teams to align procurement and investment strategies
- Analyse data to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiencies
- Provide regular updates on procurement and project status to senior management, highlighting key progress, challenges and resolutions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 1 to 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, project management, or related fields, preferably within logistics or e-commerce
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to hustle to clear roadblocks and manage issues proactively
- Willingness to travel across Asia frequently as most projects are overseas
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to facilitate cross border discussions and collaborations with stakeholders from Asia
- Proven experience in running procurement tenders and vendor negotiations
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading automation or infrastructure investment projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
