What the role is:The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions a safe, sustainable and liveable Built Environment for Singapore. It also champions the development and transformation of the Built Environment sector, to improve Singapore's living environment. We are looking for dynamic individuals who can contribute to BCA's growing digital communications and content creation functions. You will work with the team to formulate and drive digital communication strategies to profile the work by BCA and the built environment sector.What you will be working on:Strategise, conceptualise and implement social and digital communications strategies and campaigns to support BCA's mission and objectivesManage BCA's suite of social media platforms to build meaningful connections with various target audiences and shape their understanding and perception of the Built EnvironmentMonitor and analyse social media data and metrics, insights and best practices to continuously improve performance of the social media platformsCollaborate with different BCA groups to understand their work and translating them into creative and engaging digital content for our audiencesFacilitate user generated content to increase reach and engagementDevelop and maintain digital media assets including photos and videos for socialsWhat we are looking for:Tertiary Education preferably a degree in mass communication, new media or marketingMinimum 5 years of experience in digital communications. Fresh graduates with considerable portfolios are welcome to apply as well.Comprehensive understanding of the various social media platforms and the technical know-how to curate and optimise content for maximum engagementStrong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to write effectively for the audienceA self-motivated individual who is reliable, meticulous, proactive, creative and a good team playerAble to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentProfessional and positive attitude towards work and learningProficient in Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite software packages or in-design skillsSuccessful candidates will be offered contract employment.
