
Senior/Platform Support Engineer

- Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of issuer/data shared systems through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with solution vendors and internal platform specialists to deliver enhancements and changes into production environments.
- Develop and improve in-house observability tools using Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana to support trading and clearing operations.
- Implement monitoring solutions and dashboards to detect anomalies and ensure system health.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and standard operating procedures.
- Address system vulnerabilities, support audit activities, and ensure platform hygiene through regular patching and evidence collection.
- Perform application recovery, non-functional testing, and verification activities, including support during off-hours and weekends.
- Investigate and resolve application issues, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Software Developer or IT System Analyst.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Python
- Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) - deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Linux and Windows OS - application support and maintenance
- Experience with open-source observability tools (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, SQL, PowerShell).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to support production systems during weekends and off-hours.
- A mindset focused on operational excellence and production reliability.
