Job Description:
  • This position is for Office of Human Resources and Faculty Administration (HRFA).
  • HR Technology Management
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of HR Technology systems/platforms to improve and streamline HR operations, as well as enhancing the user experience for employees, line managers and HR users.
  • Serve as a liaison between HR function and IT/System implementation partner for the SAP SuccessFactors implementation project and ongoing technology initiatives/enhancements.
  • Lead the design and delivery of new/enhancement of HR technology solutions including HRIS (SAP HR ECC, SAP SuccessFactors modules) and other relevant 3rd party HR tools (e.g., Qliksense, Glint, Chronus, Microsoft Office Tools, Document management System) to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth rollout and integration between HR systems and other organizational platforms, aligning to business requirements.
  • Facilitate the change management process for the deployment of new systems or major updates to existing HR systems/modules.
  • Data Management and Analytics/Reporting
  • Oversee the management of HR data, not limiting to data structure inventory, data accuracy and compliance with data privacy.
  • Drive HR analytics and through development of standard reports/dashboard to provide insights into key HR metrics to support data-driven decision making.
  • Partner with IT department to implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive HR data and ensure data access control.
  • Process Optimisation
  • Lead and collaborate with business owners (internal HR or external stakeholders) to operationalise the implementation of the HR/Academic policies and processes via technology.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, workflow and improve user experience through technology enhancement/automation.
  • Compliance and Vendor Management
  • Oversee and review users' access for all HR related systems, i.e., HRMS such as SAP HR/SuccessFactors, reporting tool such as Qliksense, electronic document management system, Intranet repository, 3rd party systems, etc. to ensure segregation of duties are being managed appropriately according to internal control guidelines.
  • Participate in the periodic audit review exercise, not limiting to users' access maintenance.
  • Manage relationship with HR technology vendors, together with the IT department, on system patches/upgrades, maintenance, adhering service level agreement, contract negotiation.
  • Training and Documentation
  • Develop training materials, conduct training sessions for users on the use of HR technology platform. Create and maintain documentation, user guide, FAQs to support end-users to navigate the system effectively.
  • Team Management
  • Lead and mentor the team members, providing guidance on project prioritization, continuous development and keeping up with new technology trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of broad HR experience, with at least 3 years in HR technology implementation, or related roles, including leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of HR technology platforms, including HRMS (SAP HR ECC, SAP SuccessFactors), 3rd party faculty information system, survey platform (Glint).
  • Proficiency in HR solutions' configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Highly self-motivated and independent thinking abilities.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder influencing/engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in multiple teams and coordinate efforts across different stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team's members.
