Contribute to Strategic thinking and development of sourcing plans, and their implementation in the region. Support the build of the Category FY plan and deliver on it with regional and affiliate resource support Deliver year on year 3-5% cost reduction in the category. Delivery will be through a mix of OPEX, and COGS. Ensure alignment with key stakeholders on approach and desired outcome. Ensure category contract compliance in APAC. Build the regional category FY plan and deliver on it with global/regional and affiliate resource support; Deliver year on year 3-5% cost reduction in the category. Delivery will be through a mix of OPEX and COGS; Identify new opportunities to meet business needs and cultivating supplier relationships Support Global category lead and APAC regional IP leadership in developing the function Provide feedback to IP personnel globally and across the region on input on Supply Chain projects and initiatives Demonstrate a depth of understanding in Logistics services ('core': 3PL / Fulfilment, e-commerce fulfillment services, omnichannel, Warehousing/Distribution; 'good to have': Freight Forwarders, OTR, LTL, FTL, Parcel Air Freight, Ocean, Inbound/Outbound) and Skilled in Logistics and Distribution contracting terminology and establishing robust frameworks Analytical & strong presentation skills, including MS Office suite (Excel and Powerpoint) Proficient in ERP technology, preferably SAP ECC, SAP SRM, and Ariba Sourcing and Contracts Experienced as Procurement lead on major Logistics and Distribution projects across a region or multiple countries Demonstrated change leadership, successfully influencing global stakeholders at all levels Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience preferred but not required Bachelor/University Degree or Equivalent with further education preferred in Business, Procurement and or Supply Chain. Engineering or technical background is advantageous Professional certification in supply management or supply chain is desirable, e.g. from CIPS or Procurement Qualification may be an advantage Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills Analyze category spend and its drivers by analyzing internal profiling, economic factors and costs to provide visibility of key drivers and prioritize. Eager to embrace and support change, ability to manage in an ambiguous environment, consistently works against the right priorities Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, and in multicultural settings Manage suppliers: Setting and measuring KPIs and establish meetings with stakeholders to keep improving results with suppliers
