Regional IT Support Specialist

- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users within the region
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, resolving them efficiently to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with the central IT team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Conduct routine maintenance and updates to ensure the stability and security of IT systems
- Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to address potential issues
- Manage and maintain local IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and peripherals
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure seamless operation of IT systems
- Create and update documentation for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets within the region
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
- Minimally 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experienced in Wintel, IT operational & helpdesk processes and infrastructure maintenance
- Experienced in Microsoft 365, Cloud and Virtualization technology (VMware)
- Knowledge in ITIL processes and best practices
- As this role may at times work closely with the office in greater China, experience working within this region and proficiency in Mandarin language skills will be required
- An independent worker, at the same being able to work in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and manage relationships with stakeholders across all levels
