
Senior Specialist, Hotel Port Operations (Hotel Logistics & Inventory) - 1 Year Contract

- Provision scheduling, setup, and communication to internal and external clients
- Quarterly performance reviews for all dedicated provision providers
- Discovery and research of potential new port itineraries
- Partner with Supply Chain Logistics, Trade Compliance, as well as external partners to ensure the seamless coordination
- Partner with DCL Sourcing Specialists to ensure PO data accuracy while collaborating with Expeditors to track standard shipping and facilitate expedited requests
- Identify opportunities and offer recommendations for process improvements
- Participate in cross-training initiatives for on-board hotel stores operations
- Assess shipboard teams are knowledgeable and complying with Location Operating Guidelines (LOGs) and Safety Management Systems (SMS) policies and procedures.
- Manage Coupa Ordering Systems & Receipt for 3rd party F&B vendors
- Support Shipboard team in preparation and execution of new itineraries, Guest, and Crew events.
- Schedule staff meetings with the Managers of Hotel Stores Managers.
- Maintain accuracy and effectiveness of training.
- New implementation of systems for inventory management within the fleet.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Manager Hotel Port Operation.
- 3+ years of experience in the cruise line industry or back-of-house food and beverage operations
- Experience in hotel logistics, inventory, warehousing, 3PL, hotel storekeeping
- Operational excellence with existing cruise line’s and provisions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change
- Proficient computer skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and various databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
