The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.The Research Fellow will take on a significant role in Asst Prof QIAO YUAN’s lab to perform complex carbohydrate synthesis and bioactivity evaluations.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for chemical synthesis and characterization of complex carbohydrates and analoguesResponsible for developing LC-MS method for structural elucidations of natural carbohydratesPerform chemical biology assays to evaluate the bioactivity of natural and synthetic carbohydratesJob Requirements:A recent PhD graduate with expertise in organic chemistry, natural product synthesis, chemical biology or related field.Must have research experience with multi-step synthesis with good techniques to handle air- and moisture-sensitive reactions.
