- Manage the issuing team to ensure timely issuance of parts to support Production/CAP operations, following the FIFO system for stock rotation and maintaining proper housekeeping in the Logistics area.
- Supervise the unpacking team to ensure correct unpacking of parts to support Production, with strict adherence to housekeeping and safety standards.
- Work closely with the Production team to understand part requirements, priorities, and changes in schedules.
- Plan and optimize daily packing and issuing schedules to meet production deadlines while maintaining high inventory accuracy.
- Process stock issuance vouchers and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate before releasing stock.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular checks, investigate stock discrepancies, and approve cycle counts.
- Collaborate with the Production team to plan and execute Internal Kanban processes using the RFID system.
- Coordinate with the Buyer team to plan, implement, and maintain Supplier Kanban processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and participate in demand forecasting to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and robustness of Logistics operations.
- Take the lead in meeting EH&S, ISO audit, and CX compliance requirements.
- Oversee the indirect materials team, including planning for indirect inventory, purchases, and the issuance of indirect parts.
- Monitor PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) TPM activities and manage equipment rental requirements.
- Maintain accurate records in the ERP/WMS system, ensuring data integrity for stock movements.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for supply-related issues impacting production.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure operational readiness and adherence to SOPs.
- Assist in developing and reviewing Logistics-related SOPs and work instructions.
- Coordinate with Quality and Finance teams for audit preparations, reconciliations, and reporting as required.
- Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations, with at least 2 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, FIFO, and lean logistics practices
- Experience in process improvement initiatives and implementing operational enhancements.
- Proficient in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with EH&S, ISO, and audit compliance standards.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
