What the role is:DOS gathers data on government benefits and taxes from diverse sources to deliver insights on how government support impact income inequality and social outcomes.What you will be working on:If you're eager to gain deeper insights into this data domain, acquire hands-on experience and contribute to enhancing the efficiency of this end-to-end data value chain, come join us on this internship project where you will be involved in the following: - Support the migration of ETL processes to Python. - Analyse current data workflows and provide actionable recommendations to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness with implementationWhat we are looking for:Proficiency in Python with experience using the software in data processing and management General understanding of government benefits and taxation would be a plus. Preferred Discipline : Undergraduates from Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science Internship Duration: 6 months (Jan-Jun 2026)About Department of Statistics:The Singapore Department of Statistics is the National Statistical Authority responsible for statistics on the Singapore economy and population.
