Advanced Energy has dedicated four decades to perfecting power for its global customers and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.Job DescriptionAs a Supply Chain Data Analytics Intern, you will be immersed in the dynamic world of planning, procurement, and demand planning. You will collaborate with experienced professionals and cross-functional teams to solve real-world supply chain challenges using data-driven methodologies and innovative analytics tools. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and the development of supply chain solutions that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:

Work closely with supply chain managers, product owners, and stakeholders to facilitate discovery sessions, gathering detailed business and technical requirements.
Document and visualize supply chain data flows and process maps, using tools such as Microsoft Visio, or similar.
Identify, collect, and organize data from multiple sources—both internal and external—using manual and automated methods (e.g., SQL queries, Excel, ETL tools).
Cleanse, transform, and validate data to ensure its accuracy, quality, and usability for analysis.
Assist in designing, developing, and deploying dashboards and performance metrics utilizing data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau.
Generate business presentations, formal written reports, and visual storytelling materials to communicate complex analytical findings to multiple audiences, including senior management.
Participate in workshops and continuous learning opportunities to deepen your understanding of supply chain analytics and emerging industry trends.

Qualifications:

Minimum Diploma (or working towards) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Demonstrated interest in data analytics, with solid skills in Excel and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, or SQL).
Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
Strong data storytelling and communication skills; ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and a passion for solving problems using data.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting techniques, or machine learning concepts is a plus.
Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn about the future of supply chain analytics.
