
Business Analyst - Corporate Banking & Cross Border Payments

- Partner with business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document business requirements for corporate banking and cross-border payment solutions.
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Conduct detailed analysis of payment processes including SWIFT, ISO20022, and cross-border payment standards.
- Liaise with technology teams to design and validate solutions aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Support end-to-end project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, UAT, and implementation.
- Collaborate with compliance, operations, and technology teams to ensure payment solutions meet global and local regulatory guidelines.
- Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and propose enhancements for process efficiency.
- Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth project delivery.
- 6–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking domain with focus on Corporate Banking and Cross Border Payments.
- Strong understanding of payment processing (SWIFT, ISO20022, SEPA, RTGS, GPI, correspondent banking, etc.).
- Knowledge of transaction banking, liquidity management, and treasury operations.
- Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience with large transformation programs in payments/corporate banking is a plus.
- Experience with payment hubs, cloud-based payment solutions, or FinTech platforms.
- Familiarity with MAS guidelines, global payment regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of digital banking products and cross-border payment innovations (blockchain, instant payments, APIs).
