Royal Ocean Marine, a leading headhunting /recruitment agencies company in the maritime industry, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Head for a Shipmanagement/ shipping company to join our client's team. As the Technical Head Shipmanagement, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of a fleet of ships, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. You will collaborate closely with the operations team, vessel crew, and external service providers to manage maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking activities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing costs, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee the technical operations of the fleet of ships
Collaborate with the operations team, vessel crew, and external service providers
Manage maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking activities

Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field/ Prefer those with COC marine engine or Chief Engineer
Minimum of 3 years of experience in managerial or technical management for shipping companies
Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking procedures
Excellent understanding of industry regulations and standards
Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage costs and budgets effectively
