- Develop and implement strategies to drive sustainable energy practices in shipping operations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement energy efficiency measures
- Monitor and analyze energy consumption and carbon emissions data
- Assist in the development of sustainable energy policies and procedures
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in sustainable energy and emissions reduction
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on sustainable energy practices
- Participate in industry conferences and events to promote sustainable shipping practices
- Conduct research on new technologies and innovations in sustainable energy
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in the maritime industry, with a focus on sustainability or energy management
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency measures in shipping operations
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to sustainable shipping
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- Experience dealing with vessels class or ex classification surveyor will be advantage
