Royal Ocean Marine is a leading headhunting / recruitment agencies company in the maritime industry, seeking a Shipping Sustainable Energy Executive to join our client's team. As a Shipping Sustainable Energy Executive, you will play a key role in driving sustainable energy initiatives within the shipping industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable practices in shipping operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainability and has a strong understanding of the maritime industry and energy efficiency measures.Working location: CentralWorking day: 3 to 4 days per weekResponsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sustainable energy practices in shipping operations
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement energy efficiency measures
  • Monitor and analyze energy consumption and carbon emissions data
  • Assist in the development of sustainable energy policies and procedures
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in sustainable energy and emissions reduction
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on sustainable energy practices
  • Participate in industry conferences and events to promote sustainable shipping practices
  • Conduct research on new technologies and innovations in sustainable energy
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in the maritime industry, with a focus on sustainability or energy management
  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency measures in shipping operations
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to sustainable shipping
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
  • Experience dealing with vessels class or ex classification surveyor will be advantage
