Job Title: Associate Consultant Interventional RadiologistHospital: Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, National University Health System.Introduction: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an Interventional Radiologist at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care through advanced minimally invasive procedures. Our facility is dedicated to innovation and patient-centered care, providing you with opportunities to excel in your field and contribute to cutting-edge advancements in radiology.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to line and drain insertions, image guided biopsy, angiography, angioplasty, embolization, tumor ablations, and vascular interventions.
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and x-rays.
  • Provide stay-out on-call service for interventional radiology, as well as stay-out call duties for diagnostic radiology.
  • Collaborate closely with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to determine the most effective treatment plans for patients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of procedures, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and contribute expertise to patient management strategies.
  • Stay current with advancements in interventional radiology techniques, equipment, and procedures through continuing education and professional development.
  • Teach and mentor residents and medical students.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (eg MBBS, MD) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology (Eg FRCR).
  • Current valid medical license to practice in Singapore.
  • Proven experience in performing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Commitment to quality patient care and safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Research experience and/or publications in the field of interventional radiology.
