Data Architect

• Drive the “Data by Design” initiative.
• Develop deep understanding of our current data architecture, lineage, and design gaps.
• Lead the creation of conceptual and domain data models to establish a unified view of Coverage data.
• Implement Data Quality (DQ) change control frameworks to ensure compliance with data standards and models.
• Provide end-to-end support in data modeling, data architecture design, and key business transformations.
• Establish design standards for Data Privacy, Security, Records Keeping, and Data Sovereignty.
• Define business data terms, standards, and metrics to measure and enhance data quality.
• Guide and implement Reference Data Architecture Principles and monitor the health of reference data ecosystems.
• Partner with Technology Architects on physical data modeling and architecture.
• Operate or establish governance forums to oversee Data Design and Architecture.
• Act as a trusted Data Architecture Consultant across business projects and initiatives.

• Must be a Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident due to business needs.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and large-scale data engineering.
• Strong coding skills in Apache Spark, DBT, Apache Iceberg, and Trino (there will be coding tests).
• Deep understanding of enterprise data management principles and reference data strategies.
• Proven track record of implementing scalable, secure, and compliant data architectures.

• Experience in financial services or corporate banking.
• Familiarity with data governance tools and regulatory data frameworks.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
