
T&L: Merger & Acquisition Tax Senior Associate/Assistant Manager

The successful candidate will work in a business tax team providing M&A and tax advisory services to an diverse mix of corporate clients spread across industries. Responsibilities will include undertaking research on local and international tax issues, advising on Singapore corporate and stamp duty matters, cross-border restructurings, tax treaties, withholding tax matters, permanent establishment matters, M&A (due diligence, acquisition structuring, post-acquisition restructurings) and drafting tax advisory memos.Your role as a leaderAt Deloitte, we believe in the importance of empowering our people to be leaders at all levels. - You should have at least 3 to 5 years of Singapore corporate tax experience preferably with an international accounting/law firm. Experience in an advisory role is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or other business-related field, with a Professional Qualification as recognized by ISCA. An SCTP accreditation would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communications, inter-personal skills, writing skills and passion to learn and deliver quality work
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and with multiple team leaders.
