A global medical technology leader is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager to drive portfolio growth and strategic marketing initiatives for the assigned portfolio across the Asia Pacific region. This role blends upstream marketing strategy with support for downstream execution, ensuring market success in both mature and emerging APAC markets.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in regional marketing for medical devices, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to lead across a complex, matrixed environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRegional Strategy & Market GrowthDevelop and execute tailored marketing strategies to match diverse market maturity levels across APAC.Identify high-potential market segments and deploy penetration plans for both Tier 1 cities and underserved healthcare environments.Partner with global marketing and R&D to align long-term portfolio plans and guide product pipeline development for APAC needs.Product Lifecycle & Launch ManagementLead cross-functional commercialization plans for new product introductions (segmentation, messaging, pricing, training, and market access alignment).Implement value-based approaches for price-sensitive markets, including tiered product positioning and health economics tools.Sales Enablement & Field SupportCreate sales tools, objection-handling resources, and clinical messaging to empower commercial teams.Plan and deliver regional training programs, providing in-market coaching alongside sales teams.KOL & Clinical EngagementBuild and sustain relationships with key opinion leaders, hospitals, and professional bodies to support advocacy and adoption.Coordinate speaker programs, workshops, and medical education activities.Market Intelligence & Competitive StrategyLead market analysis, voice-of-customer research, and competitive monitoring to drive data-based decision-making.Collaborate with regulatory and market access teams to accelerate approvals and support reimbursement strategies.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with supply chain, clinical affairs, regulatory, and quality teams to ensure smooth go-to-market execution.Support country marketing teams with campaigns, clinical programs, and localized initiatives.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related; MBA preferred.10+ years’ regional marketing/commercial experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare, with at least 5 years in APAC markets.Demonstrated success in new product launches and market growth initiatives in both mature and emerging APAC markets.Experience in OR/ Critical Care spaceProven ability to operate in a matrixed, multicultural environment and influence stakeholders without direct authority.Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).Willingness to travel up to 50% regionally.Preferred ProfileStrategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong customer focus.Adaptable, innovative, and compliant in approach.Able to build trust, foster collaboration, and influence across diverse cultures.
