Supplier Quality Engineer (S3)

- Oversee the inspection and verification of incoming parts to ensure they are fit for use and meet quality requirements.
- Respond to and resolve supplier-related quality issues promptly to maintain continuous and reliable supply.
- Monitor supplier performance and part quality data to identify risks and initiate improvements to meet quality expectations.
- Conduct supplier audits and qualifications, verifying that quality systems and processes meet required standards.
- Develop supplier improvement plans and maintain strong relationships with both current and potential vendors.
- Support and coach technicians to perform accurate inspections and function as the first line of quality control for incoming materials.
- Lead continuous improvements in supplier quality workflows, inspection operations, and team productivity.
- Maintain and calibrate quality inspection equipment, ensuring safety, accuracy, and operational readiness.
- Supervise a team of technicians to support SQE operations and drive daily efficiency.
- Periodically review and maintain SQE-related documentation in accordance with ISO or internal audit requirements.
- Assist with ad hoc investigations and prepare quality-related reports as required.
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Manufacturing, or related discipline).
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in supplier quality or related engineering roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in plastic injection molding and/or metal stamping processes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with tools such as SolidWorks, JMP, or Minitab will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Salary: Up to SGD 4,200 + AWS + VB (2 Months)
