Senior Software Engineer

• Our client is a Singapore-based deep-tech startup specializing in battery intelligence and IoT solutions for the electric vehicle (EV) system
• Provides cutting-edge solutions such as AI-powered platforms for real-time battery health monitoring, predictive maintenance, State of Charge, and Remaining Useful Life estimation, and hardware devices for seamless EV integration.
• One of the pioneers and leaders in their specialized industry. Recently was awarded for advancing EV fleet optimization through data-driven insights and recognized for its role in building the Global EV Intelligence Network.
• Established over 7 years ago with almost 25+ team members globally. Offices across Singapore and partner locations in APAC.

• After a very successful 2024, looking for a new Senior Software Developer to join their team in the Philippines
• Design and implement robust server-side logic to support real-time data ingestion and processing
• Develop and maintain APIs for internal services and external integrations
• Architect and optimize database schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Ensure backend systems are scalable, secure, and resilient across cloud environments
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and data teams to align backend architecture with business goals
• Contribute to the automation of deployment pipelines and system monitoring
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and incident retrospectives

• At least 6-12 years of experience in backend development, with strong command of C++, C#, and Python
• Proven expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases, query optimization, and monitoring
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and infrastructure setup
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Familiarity with Node-RED, MQTT brokers, and IoT data flows
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and modern version control practices
• Fluent in English
