We aim to deliver the best experience for all interns, to create exponential growth and paving your future in the tech industry.This project offers students a unique opportunity to engage directly with our daily finance operations, allowing them to gain valuable operational knowledge that will contribute to our process and workflow improvement initiatives. We are particularly interested in students who possess a foundational understanding of business intelligence and data visualization techniques.The selected interns will participate but not limited to the following:
  • Issuing Invoices: Students will be responsible for issuing invoices related to back-to-back recovery transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing to maintain cash flow and financial integrity.
  • Balance Sheet Review: Participants will conduct thorough reviews of the balance sheet, focusing on identifying and clearing aged items to ensure that financial records are up-to-date and reflect the true financial position of the organization.
  • Expense Claims Checking: Students will assist in verifying staff expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and accuracy in reporting to prevent discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement Projects: Students will actively contribute to process improvement projects related to Fixed Assets (FA), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) operations. This will involve analyzing current workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing enhancements to streamline operations.
  • Cash Flow Template and Dashboard Improvement: Participants will work on improving the cash flow template and dashboard, which are essential tools for financial planning and analysis. This may include updating formulas, enhancing visualizations, and ensuring that the dashboard provides clear insights into cash flow trends.
Through this hands-on experience, students will not only apply their academic knowledge but also develop practical skills that are essential for a successful career in finance and accounting. They will gain insights into the intricacies of financial operations and contribute to meaningful improvements within Synapxe.About you:
  • Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field
  • Graduating in May/Dec 2026 or May 2027
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exhibits positive learning mindset, resourcefulness and resilience to work under pressure
  • Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
