- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of supply chain contracts, including procurement agreements, contract manufacturing agreements, logistics/warehousing agreements, distribution agreements, framework/MSAs, and quality assurance agreements.
- Advise on supplier risk allocation, including warranties, indemnities, limitations of liability, termination, price adjustments, and service level terms.
- Provide day-to-day legal support on regulatory and trade compliance, including export controls, sanctions, customs, and import/export requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Compliance) to support strategic sourcing initiatives, vendor selection, and supply chain resilience.
- Law degree (LL.B./J.D. or equivalent) with admission to practice in Singapore or another common-law jurisdiction.
- 7-12 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) with substantial experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or technology-related contracting. Prior in-house experience with a global technology, hardware, or semiconductor company preferred.
- Strong expertise in commercial contracts and cross-border trade compliance (export controls, sanctions, customs).
- Strong communication skills, with proven ability to negotiate complex agreements with suppliers, original equipment manufacturers (OEM)/original design manufacturers (ODM), and logistics partners in Asia and globally.
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and business partnering skills; able to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
