- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Big Data architectures.
- Design and build data processing frameworks and infrastructure for large-scale data ingestion, storage, and analysis.
- Develop and implement data governance and security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data.
- Optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of data processing systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Big Data technologies and industry best practices.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Proven experience as a Big Data Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Big Data technologies and frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Hive.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
- Experience designing and implementing data processing architectures and workflows.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and NewSQL.
- Understanding of data governance and security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Relevant certifications in Big Data or related fields are a plus.
- Salary: SGD 6000 - 12000
