Candidates currently based in Singapore are strongly preferred.This newly created position, based in Singapore, is a key member of the Engineering Source Approval (ESA) team and reports to the Associate Director of Engineering Source Approval based in the US. The role is responsible for reviewing and approving a wide range of machining and special processes used in the manufacture of engine hardware, including milling, turning, grinding, broaching, hole drilling and special process such as welding, brazing and surface treatments. It requires close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards. Regional travel of up to 40% is expected.What You Will DoPerform Engineering Source Approval activities for Asia Pacific suppliers.Interface with supplier engineers, Engineering, Procurement and Quality teams for initial approvals, changes and processing variations.Manage schedules and resources to ensure timely, robust, and compliant approvals.Review of detailed process-specific operation sheets, process monitoring, non-destructive evaluation, destructive metallurgical testing and evaluation of manufacturing processes.Document and analyse results to substantiate qualification of processes, prepare reports, and generate standard work.International travel of up to 40% and working across international time zones is expected.Qualifications You Must HaveBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing or Chemical Engineering.8+ years of experience in quality, engineering, materials, manufacturing or aerospace- related roles.A broad knowledge of materials and processes used in gas turbine engine manufacturing or similar.Strong experience in conventional machining (milling, grinding, broaching) and/or special processes (shot peening, chem milling, brazing, welding).Training in Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with people across diverse teams.Ability to self-direct, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.Strong results-focused work ethic.Qualifications We PreferSolid understanding of P&W’s design, manufacturing, and quality systems, as well as familiarity with the Engineering Source Approval (ESA) process.Green Belt and/or Black Belt certification.Experience working with gas turbine components and/or compressor airfoils.What We OfferCareer and skills development opportunities.Employee scholarship program for further education.Comprehensive health, medical and dental benefits.On-the-job training and in-house/external certifications.Competitive renumeration package.Allowance and overtime benefits where appliable.Company transport provided.RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
