What the role is:The intern will assist the Business & Economics Division in conducting economics assessment of cases, market studies and policy research which CCCS is conducting.What you will be working on:
  • Understand the workings of competition law and how CCCS applies it in enforcement and advocacy work • Apply economic analysis to markets, firms and research themes • Build interpersonal skills for the work environment
What we are looking for:
  • Willingness to learn and is a self-starter • Ability to handle some ambiguity • Ability to make sense of large amounts of information • Knowledge of data analytics is an advantage Interested applicants, please upload your CV, University unofficial transcripts and A level results.
About Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore:The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (“CCCS”) administers and enforces the Competition Act (Cap. 50B) which empowers CCCS to investigate and adjudicate anti-competitive activities, issue directions to stop and/or prevent anti-competitive activities and impose financial penalties. CCCS is also the administering agency of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Cap. 52A) or CPFTA which protects consumers against unfair trade practices in Singapore.
