As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.Perform problem troubleshooting with systematic & analytical mindsetMonitor process yield/scrap performance & implement effective improvement actions to improve process stability & solve chronic issuesConduct training for line technicians to improve their technical competency and fan out critical knowledge relevant to achieve key module KPIsCollaborate with equipment engineer on yield related topics and implement effective improvement/containment actions to prevent recurrenceCollaborate with external vendors on root cause identification, application support & other topics relevant to the smooth running of manufacturing equipmentsDefine process control procedures & upkeep documents related to the smooth running of manufacturing equipmentsParticipate or lead projects involving downtime reduction, cost saving, yield improvement or new material qualification.Coordinate equipment activities with inter and intra department personnel to ensure smooth executionRequirementsHands on individual with experience in vacuum PVD equipmentsDynamic team player who possesses good interpersonal skillsStrong passion & drive to seek improvements to equipment & process setupQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
