The position requires troubleshooting, engineering, project management, and software development skills. The ideal candidate should also expect to collaborate with the different functional teams focusing on Semiconductor Manufacturing, and may also work with Product Test, Quality, Planning, and other areas.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain test system UI and software/hardware infrastructureDesign new firmware for test system communication (with DUTs, handlers, instruments, etc.)Perform pre-production test platform bring-up and debuggingBuild and refine engineering tools used during product developmentIntegrate software with OSAT MES systemsInvestigate and resolve test platform issues from internal users and OSATsTackle product test development challenges specific to the platformCreate user-facing documentation and train test engineersPackage and distribute software for production test—including core apps, test programs, and support dataSkills You Will NeedBachelor's degree in Computer or Electronics EngineeringStrong hands-on experience with C and Python 3, including OOP skillsFamiliarity with Docker or similar container techDev best practices in your DNA:Agile workflowsGit (with code reviews!)Linting and unit testingA reliability-first mindset: You write code to run 24/7 for a decade or moreEmbedded systems and firmware dev experienceComfortable with lab gear (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)Able to debug and validate complex mixed-signal/RF test platformsKnow your way around IC manufacturing and backend processesSolid skills in statistical data analysisConfident working in Linux environmentsBonusHands-on experience designing and developing with FPGA/VerilogFamiliarity with IoT (Internet of Things) product security methodologies and techniquesSoftware security focus (understanding of PKI, certs, etc.)Experience in test development with traditional test platforms (Teradyne, Advantest, Credence, etc.)Benefits & Perks:
