[What the role is]
You will be working on the Malay Community Oral History Committee (MCOHC) as an Oral History Centre Intern under National Archives of Singapore (NAS).[What you will be working on]
  • Content development – identifying and developing valuable and relevant content related to a particular niche or industry which can be used to promote the collection.
  • Engage in creative expressive activities – creative thinking on how this content could be presented attractively, engagingly yet being informative to audience e.g., short video, audio playlist, etc.
  • Practical and hands on activities – editing of interview synopses in both English and Malay.
  • Perform documentation and editorial work.
[What we are looking for]
  • Students from Malay Studies, Arts and Social Sciences, Communications, Information Studies, Marketing, Southeast Asia History related courses preferred.
  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Melayu (written and spoken)
  • Keen interest in Singapore history
  • Knowledge and necessary skills needed to produce digital content such as video and audio
  • Good communications, organisation and presentation skills.
