- Ensure accurate inventory valuation, reconciliation, and analysis, including Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and work order variance analysis.
- Perform product margin analysis and collaborate with Operations and the Site Controller to address costing and margin issues, providing scenario analysis to support decision-making.
- Deliver monthly P&L analysis, quarterly flux analysis, and quarterly reporting packages.
- Lead the annual inventory reserve exercise and coordinate year-end inventory counts with external auditors.
- Manage the rolling forecast and annual budget preparation processes.
- Maintain and review standard costs for purchased and manufactured items, performing monthly and yearly cost rollups.
- Determine cost allocation bases for shared costs and set standard rates for direct labour and production overhead.
- Partner with Operations to simplify processes and improve cost efficiency.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors on costing-related matters, ensuring compliance with statutory reporting standards (FAM, MAM, IFRS).
- Uphold data integrity in accordance with company policies and proactively improve related processes.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience, with strong exposure to manufacturing or product costing.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis and standard cost setting.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical and business partnering skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
