The division also focuses on upskilling the network of support, including employers and caregivers, to strengthen support systems for individuals with disabilities. Skills Framework Adoption: Support the adoption of Enabling Skills and Competencies Framework

Key Duties & Responsibilities / Work Areas1. Lifelong Learning Strategy: Support the Disability Employment and Lifelong Learning Manpower study that would provide data and insights on the demand and supply of lifelong learning programmes for persons with disabilities and their network of support, as well as the formulation of Lifelong Learning Strategy based on the study insights to develop implementation plans and associated resources to achieve the intended goals as follows:a) Enhanced systems to support effective skills development and lifelong learning; andb) Innovative and flexible learning programmes catered to the needs of PWDs & their network of support.2. Skills Framework Adoption: Support in the adoption strategies for the Enabling Skills and Competencies Framework which involves working with internal and external stakeholders (eg training providers, social service agencies).Requirements

Interest in research and/or training and development.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated passion in enabling persons with disabilities and their network of support will be an added advantage.
