- Conduct research and analysis to gain insights into current trends and forecast developments in the digital economy and digital society.
- Quantitatively assess the economic and social impacts of IMDA's policies and programmes.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders within and outside the organisation to define data needs, supporting evidence-based policy and strategy development.
- Engage in data acquisition, quantitative modelling, and advanced analytics, including data visualization, to provide actionable insights.
- Identify and implement data-driven initiatives to foster innovation and reinforce a data-centric approach within the organization.
- Provide data and statistical support for policy and programme formulation.
- Background in Economics, Statistics, Data Science or a closely related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in quantitative research and analysis.
- Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as Python, R and Stata.
- Familiarity with data visualisation techniques and tools such as Tableau.
- An independent, self-motivated individual with the ability to tackle complex issues and thrive in cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for presenting complex data in a clear and persuasive manner.
