- Provide patient-centered care using lifestyle medicine principles and conduct thorough assessments that include lifestyle, behavioral, and medical risk factors
- Interpret findings and advanced diagnostics for early detection of disease and pre-disease states
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team (eg. nurses, dietitians, health coaches, clinical psychologist and clinical exercise physiologist) to develop and monitor individualised treatment plans focused on sustainable lifestyle changes
- Lead or contribute to shared medical appointments, group consultations, educational workshops or community-based wellness initiatives
- Stay current with emerging research and best practices in lifestyle medicine
- Serve as a clinical thought leader and advocate for lifestyle and longevity medicine within the practice and broader community
- Possess a basic degree in medicine (MBBS or an equivalent qualification) from an accredited medical school that is registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) is mandatory
- Candidates who hold a full registration with the SMC will be prioritised. Conditionally licensed doctors with Lifestyle Medicine experience may also apply (please indicate in your application)
- Higher or postgraduate medical qualification that is registrable with SMC (e.g., MRCGP, MMed (FM), GDFM) is highly desirable
- Willing to obtain board certification by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (DipIBLM)
- Demonstrated interest or track record in preventive, lifestyle-focused care including managing chronic conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, calm, and empathetic approach
- Familiarity and proficiency with electronic medical records systems (EMR) is required, including doing telehealth consults on CMS platforms
- Knowledge to follow MOH-issued Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) for chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension), and facilitate chronic disease prevention and reversal, particularly when lifestyle interventions are first-line recommendations
- Following closely to the SMC ethical code and guidelines on informed consent, medical confidentiality, evidence-based practice, avoiding conflicts of interest, proper advertising and patient communication
