- Diagnose and Treat Complex Medical Conditions: Manage internal medicine cases involving respiratory, gastrointestinal, cardiology, renal, hepatic, and endocrine systems.
- Advanced Diagnostics and Procedures: Perform and interpret advanced diagnostics, including endoscopy, ultrasound, CT, and echocardiography. Review labs, imaging, and consult with specialists for accurate case management.
- Patient Management: Develop and implement treatment plans, oversee daily inpatient reviews, and manage long-term care for chronic conditions.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with other veterinary specialists and departments to provide holistic, multi-disciplinary care. Provide consultations for in-patient cases and guide treatment plans to optimise outcomes.
- Client Communication: Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care to pet owners with empathy and professionalism.
- Medical Records: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Continued Education and Training: Keep current with the latest developments in internal medicine and participate in professional development.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Supervise and mentor veterinarians, interns, and veterinary nurses. Lead hospital rounds, journal clubs, and continuing education sessions.
- Veterinary degree from AVMA, RCVS, or AVBC accredited schools (UK, Australia, New Zealand, or AVMA-accredited US schools recognised).
- Board certification in Internal Medicine (ACVIM/ECVIM or equivalent). * Residency-trained candidates eligible for board exams may also be considered.
- More than 5 years of clinical experience with advanced diagnostic and case management skills.

- Strong leadership abilities, advanced clinical skills, and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility for weekend and overnight shifts as part of a referral and emergency hospital team.
- Must complete Mandatory Continuing Professional Education (CPE) to maintain licensure and specialist certification.
- Work in Singapore’s only independent referral & emergency veterinary hospital.
