- Work hours: Mon to Fri 9am - 6pm
- Engage in technical pre-sales activities, secure technical victories in sales opportunities, manage technical processes and escalations
- Proactively identify new sales leads and nurture relationships
- Articulate technical value proposition
- Technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs, ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs) and proof-of-values (POVs)
- Design solutions and relay requirements to Product Management
- Support company and partner events from a technical standpoint
- Expand technical knowledge of company and related technologies
- Mentor other solutions engineers as needed
- Develop training materials for the SE team when applicable
- MIS/Computer Science Degree or equivalent
- 6-10 years of successful presales experience in high-tech sales
- Proficiency in Windows/Active Directory with some UNIX/Linux knowledge
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- Understanding of security concepts and role development within organizations, along with LDAP and authentication methods
- CISSP or SANS preferred
- Experience in enterprise application authentication (e.g., .NET, Java, CLI) and preferred application development and scripting skills.
