Senior/Solution Engineer (Presales)

• Work location: Central
• Work hours: Mon to Fri 9am - 6pm

• Engage in technical pre-sales activities, secure technical victories in sales opportunities, manage technical processes and escalations
• Proactively identify new sales leads and nurture relationships
• Articulate technical value proposition
• Technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs, ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs) and proof-of-values (POVs)
• Design solutions and relay requirements to Product Management
• Support company and partner events from a technical standpoint
• Expand technical knowledge of company and related technologies
• Mentor other solutions engineers as needed
• Develop training materials for the SE team when applicable

• MIS/Computer Science Degree or equivalent
• 6-10 years of successful presales experience in high-tech sales
• Proficiency in Windows/Active Directory with some UNIX/Linux knowledge
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and executive audiences
• Understanding of security concepts and role development within organizations, along with LDAP and authentication methods
• CISSP or SANS preferred
• Experience in enterprise application authentication (e.g., .NET, Java, CLI) and preferred application development and scripting skills.
