In this role, you will be using the big data in the public healthcare, to analyse, design and develop BI solutions that provide strategic insights to improve decision-making in Singapore healthcare system.   • Project Leadership
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of data engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Work closely with project managers and business analysts to strategically drive project demands and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Champion of Best Practices
  • Establish and enforce standards for data engineering practices, including development, testing, and implementation
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Present complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • Deliver engaging presentations that resonate with technical architects, directors, business users, and data owners alike
  • Translate intricate data insights into understandable language to foster collaboration and drive informed decision-making across the organization
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology/ System or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, with a strong track record of managing projects and leading teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in data warehousing, data analytics, lakehouse architecture, and AWS technologies
  • Proficiency and relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Informatica IDMC experience
  • Data visualisation tools such as Tableau, OBIEE
  • Working knowledge on BI standard languages such as R, Python, SQL, Apache Spark
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate or higher
  • Databricks and IDMC certification will be advantageous
