
Senior Instructor, APJ Technical Enablement

- Deliver instructor-led technical training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to employees, partners, in the APJ region.
- Design, deploy, and maintain robust lab environments for realistic, hands-on learning, and technical skills practice.
- Rapidly assimilate new technologies, product updates, and enhancements with minimal supervision, ensuring training content and delivery is always up-to-date.
- Contribute to the creation, upkeep, and refinement of technical courseware and learning content, working collaboratively with Curriculum Development, subject matter experts, divisional partners, and stakeholders.
- Assess and select appropriate instructional delivery methods (such as classroom, virtual, blended, or eLearning), taking into account audience needs, business priorities, and efficiency.
- Apply foundational instructional design methodologies, including needs analysis, documentation creation, scenario and assessment development, and the construction of engaging activities.
- Collect, interpret, and utilize learner feedback and other evaluation metrics to drive ongoing improvements in content and delivery.
- Maintain regular communication and partnership with cross-functional global teams, internal and external business partners, vendors, and other key stakeholders to align on enablement initiatives and solutions.
- Minimum 5 years' experience delivering technical training initiatives, within storage or networking technology domains and for audiences in APJ.
- Advanced technical acumen in storage and/or networking, with proficiency in Linux (including shell/CLI), network configuration (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, LAN/WAN), and enterprise storage fundamentals (experience with SSD/Flash SAN/NAS is highly valued).
- Familiarity with virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.), operating systems (Solaris, Linux, Windows), and storage area networks.
- Effectiveness with a range of delivery platforms and engagement techniques: live classroom/seminar, virtual web-based training, webinars, whiteboarding, and creation/management of technical lab training.
- Prior experience in technical sales, program management, or technical support roles is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to present effectively to non-native English speakers and work with interpreters when required.
- Self-motivation, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset; comfortable navigating global, cross-functional environments and adopting an entrepreneurial, solution-oriented approach.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant background in customer-focused, service-oriented organizations.
- Japanese and/or Korean language capabilities are preferred.
- Readiness to travel 50-75% of the time to lead training across the APJ region.
