Are you passionate about driving strategic sourcing and procurement excellence within the Medical Device industry. Our client is looking for a dynamic team player to join their business to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the procurement process.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead sourcing strategies and supplier initiatives for Medical Technology, ensuring impactful outcomes.
  • Build and manage vendor relationships to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance against SLAs and KPIs.
  • Conduct industry horizon scanning, benchmarking, and competitive analysis of key medical technologies.
  • Collaborate with clinical and nursing champions to develop sourcing strategies, provide product insights, and support contract awards.
  • Execute strategic RFP processes to reduce total cost of ownership and lead supplier negotiations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings with stakeholders including biomedical engineers, radiographers, and service managers for product/service evaluations.
  • Supervise and mentor the procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Align user and vendor expectations, resolve conflicts, and drive effective solutions.
  • Ensure full compliance with manual policies and procedures.
  • Champion continuous improvement across sourcing and procurement processes.
  • Act as a change agent, developing strategies for future business needs with internal and external partners.
  • Communicate Master Agreement terms to suppliers and monitor compliance.
Requirements
  • Degree with 3-8 years of relevant procurement and team management experience.
  • Proven track record in process improvement, policy development, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Strong background in procurement or supply chain management, with expertise in negotiations and vendor management.
  • Effective leadership and team motivation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP MM/Ariba is a plus.
