Cleverly revolving around a railway junction theme, interiors hearken back to Pullman’s 19th-century roots of luxury rail travel, harmoniously blended with contemporary touches.Job DescriptionSummaryThis position is responsible for the overall mixology operational components of the division to ensure efficiency and high standards of operations in the outlet.Job Responsibilities
  • Provide bar related trainings for the service team.
  • Up-sell or promote all specials advertised in the outlet as well promoting slow moving items.
  • Responsible for all side duties described in the job task check list and to complete all side work prior to the opening and closing of the restaurant.
  • Develop and update cocktail menus in line with latest industry trends.
  • Conduct ongoing R&D work on beverage offerings.
  • Work closely with Head Mixologist / Bar Manager / Outlet Manager on creative and innovative promotions.
  • Follow outlet policies, purchasing procedures and service standards.
  • Proactively assist guests at all times.
  • Provides table and or counter service of alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Maintain a well-stocked bar, including all ingredients needed to prepare signature drinks and standard drink orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area to ensure a safe environment for guests.
  • Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Works closely with the restaurant service team and the chefs in order to deliver luxury service in the dining area.
  • To ensure inventory, requisition, par stocks and control systems are in place to maintain cost control.
  • Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
  • Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the management.
QualificationsQualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Good knowledge of food, wine & spirits.
  • Good communication and customer contact skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
  • Self-motivated and energetic.
