- PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field, with strong expertise in nonlinear optics and lithium niobate photonics.
- Hands-on experience in photonic device design, including ring resonators, waveguides, and MZI meshes, supported by modeling and simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL, Lumerical).
- Proven track record in nanofabrication techniques, including ICP-RIE etching, periodic poling, and fabrication of curved waveguide structures.
- Familiarity with electro-optic and thermal tuning methods for photonic devices, and experience in system-level optical integration.
- Strong analytical and experimental skills, with experience in validating photonic devices on benchmark tasks such as classification and regression.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, translating advanced research concepts into functional photonic systems.
