What the role is:About the Team Generative AI (GenAI) Core Team As one of the frontrunners in GenAI amongst Government agencies, the CPF Board is committed to harnessing GenAI to increase efficiency and effectiveness in our work. We have put together a GenAI Core Team, comprising officers from a few different departments, who are driving GenAI training, tinkering, and tooling across CPF Board. During your internship, you can expect: • Hands-on involvement in developing engagement initiatives for a large organisation. • Opportunities to lead workshops and discussions if you are comfortable. • Exposure to the public service, in particular a tech-driven team within the social sector. • Personal learning and experimentation in the field of GenAI.What you will be working on:As a GenAI Engagement Intern, you'll be involved in: · Sharing and supporting GenAI adoption throughout the organisation. · Developing content and initiatives (e.g. talks, workshops, hackathons) to level-up staff across the organisation in GenAI understanding and prompt engineering. · Staying up to date with the latest advancements in GenAI, especially in the area of prompt engineering techniques · Partnering with users to provide guidance on how to better harness GenAI and engineer prompts for their use cases.What we are looking for:We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria: · Available at least 3 days per week (50% hybrid working arrangement). · Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in developing content that is able to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience simply and clearly. · Intellectually curious, able to pick up new skills quickly, and have a genuine interest in technology. · Good independent time and task management skills, with ability to work collaboratively on initiatives. · No specific field of study or technical background required, but a solid understanding of GenAI concepts (e.g. how Large Language Models work, what in-context learning does) and prompt engineering techniques is recommended. · Some familiarity with Python coding on Jupyter notebooks will be advantageous but is not required.About Central Provident Fund Board:At the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board, we believe in developing individuals who are inspired to do their life's best work, through 3Ps: Purposeful Work, Professional Growth, People & Culture.
