job detailsabout the companyOur Client is a leading multinational corporation with global presence and specializes within the industrial sector. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and articulate Finance Manager to join and lead our dynamic team, overseeing various financial functions across our group of companies.about the jobReporting to the CFO, you will lead and oversee group financial accounting, including managing a team at their headquarters and supervising finance teams across the region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage group financial operations in collaboration with subsidiary finance leaders, focusing on team structures, accounting policies, closing procedures, and process improvements. Ensure timely and accurate group reporting and consolidation, developing high-quality reports for decision-making purposes. Manage group taxation matters, including corporate tax, transfer pricing, and tax planning across all subsidiaries. Collaborate with the FP&A function to provide valuable inputs for business partnering and improvement initiatives, supporting additional reporting needs and developing operational metric reports. Work with the Treasury function to provide insights into managing working capital and cash effectively. Collaborate with Corporate Affairs to revise and update accounting and finance policies, approval limits, and processes. Manage audit matters, including relationship management with auditors, audit planning, and execution. Provide support for ad-hoc matters as needed.Skills and experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certified Accountant or prior External Audit experience would be highly desirable
  • Relevant years of experience in finance from a B2B or manufacturing background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial information effectively would be a plus
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Fusion).
