Company : Vantage Automotive LimitedWhat You’ll Be DoingAs a Technician, you will support daily workshop operations and uphold the highest standards in vehicle servicing and maintenance.- Perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, military vehicles, and other machinery- Ensure that repairs meet safety and operational standards set by the government and military- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and assist with vehicle recovery when necessary- Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned by the foreman or supervisorWho We’re Looking For- Minimum Nitec in Automotive-related courses, or GCE ‘O’ Level. Professional Certificate in Automotive Technician (Malaysia) is also accepted- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the automotive industry- Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving License is mandatory- A Class 4 Driving License is preferred but not required- Knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles is an added advantage- Proficient in interpreting repair manuals and using factory tools- Mature thinker with a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and heavy-duty transmissions- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines- Military or government clearance (background checks)
