[What the role is] The Strategic Partnerships & Engagement (SP&E) department is responsible for engaging, seeking, and exploring new opportunities with stakeholders from the public, private and people sectors.As an Assistant Manager / Manager of the SP&E team, you will advocate, build, maintain and track strategic relationships with different stakeholders within and beyond the arts and culture sector, as well as forge new relationships and drive new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to co-create impact to benefit the arts sector. Your core responsibility will be to build, follow through and evolve strategic alliances with NAC’s stakeholders.[What you will be working on]Grow arts philanthropy to develop a sustainable arts ecosystemSupport the development of the arts philanthropy landscape by driving awareness on the impact of giving to the artsAnalyse data to develop/refine strategies on donor expansion and cultivation for annual and broad-based giving programmes / campaignsLead campaigns for stART Fund (refresh collaterals, microsite, videos, on-ground activations)Explore strategic partnerships to grow the arts philanthropy landscapeCultivate and engage patronsDevelop and cultivate good stakeholder relationships among arts charities and IPCs and donors to generate greater awareness in arts philanthropy via the Sustain the Arts (stART) FundPlan, manage and organise patron engagements, including but not limited to events and seminars to establish new and cultivate existing patronsSupport the pitching and crafting of funding proposals for existing and potential patrons to drive new partnership and collaboration opportunitiesManage NAC’s Donor Management SystemSupport initiatives such as stART to grow philanthropy capabilities in the arts sectorSupporting stART grantees to achieve intended outcomes through the stART FundSupport grant processing, assessment, completion and closure of stART projectsManage the development of the Impact Evaluation ReportsPerform stART Secretariat duties including but not limited to assessment of submissions, meetings scheduling and grant administrationSupport for Patron of the Arts Awards 2025Assess and evaluate POAA nominations for POAA2025Support with stakeholder and vendor liaison for eventAdministrative and budget support for SP&ESupport and organise meetings with stakeholders/partners at working and management levelsManage vendors to ensure timely delivery of services[What we are looking for]1-3 years of relevant experience in fundraising or partnership management and/or events managementArticulate and strong in both verbal and written communicationsExcellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, and the capacity to develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levelsExcellent organisational and project management skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesEntrepreneurial, open-minded, persistent, collaborative
