[What the role is] The Public Hygiene Council (PHC) was formed in 2011 to help raise standards of public hygiene and cleanliness in Singapore. The Public Hygiene Promotion and Partnerships Department of the National Environment Agency (NEA) supports and works closely with PHC, its partners and stakeholders, to develop and implement outreach and partnerships programmes to shape and achieve the desired outcome of a truly clean Singapore.[What you will be working on]The Executive will support the engagement of industry stakeholders, to promote corporate environmental stewardship and uplift environmental hygiene standards. The Executive will be responsible for, but not limited to, carrying out the following duties:Plan, coordinate and organise outreach initiatives and events to engage industry stakeholders and promote corporate environmental stewardship.Work closely with industry stakeholders (e.g. industry leaders, trade associations, etc.) to develop educational and publicity materials to provide timely updates to industry partnersBuild and engage a network of industry partners to support PHC’s programmes and initiativesManage, coordinate and facilitate requests for clean-up activities and handle public enquiries for PHC related mattersProvide administrative and logistical support for PHC’s events and initiativesAssist in tracking and managing PHC’s warehouse inventory[What we are looking for]The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:Think strategically, plan and apply analytical reasoning in the area of stakeholder engagement1-2 years of relevant working experience with stakeholder engagement, outreach, or partnerships developmentAdept at engaging industry partners and building rapport with stakeholders across different sectorsA good team player who enjoys communicating and working with othersOrganised and able to multi-taskMature, independent and resourcefulAble to work outside office hours or at weekends, when necessaryAs part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
