Adecco is partnering with a payments company committed to offering secure and efficient financial solutions to businesses and consumers. We are presently searching for an experienced individual to join our client as the Head of Risk and Compliance. This role will entail overseeing all facets of risk management and compliance within the organization, ensuring the maintenance of the highest standards of integrity and regulatory compliance.about the job:

Develop and implement confidential risk management strategies to effectively mitigate organizational risks.
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining confidentiality in all compliance matters.
Lead confidential non-IT audits and assessments to identify and address areas of non-compliance, driving policy updates as necessary.
Formulate, review, and communicate confidential risk and compliance policies to align with business objectives.
Prepare detailed and confidential reports on risk and compliance matters for senior management and board members.
Provide confidential expert guidance in board meetings, advocating for risk-aware decision-making.
Mentor and train staff confidentially to promote a culture of risk awareness and ethical behavior.
Cultivate confidential relationships with external regulators, auditors, and industry associations.
Collaborate confidentially with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and cooperation in risk and compliance efforts.
Develop and execute confidential training programs to enhance organizational proficiency in risk control and compliance matters.

skills and experience required:

Bachelor's degree in Business / Finance / Law, or a related field.
6 to 8 years of experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in the payments industry.
Strong understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards.
Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management and compliance programs.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and assess risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
