Technician (Commercial Vehicle)

• Work location: West Region
• Working hours: Monday - Friday , 8.30am - 5.30pm (Alternate Saturdays)

• Perform comprehensive repairs encompassing mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Conduct thorough overhaul repairs as necessary.
• Diagnose issues effectively and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Strive to achieve Utilization, Efficiency, and Productivity targets.
• Ensure accurate parts details are provided in Work Orders as required.
• Carry out routine service maintenance on trucks.
• Take responsibility for the handling and usage of all tools and equipment.
• Ensure genuine parts replacement and services adhere to the checklist and scope of work ethically.
• Perform all services and repairs meticulously, following manufacturers' standards.
• Set a high standard for Health & Safety performance within the responsibility area.

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience in Servicing and repairing heavy trucks servicing and repairing heavy trucks.
• Basic Vehicle Principles and Concepts.
• Basic engine, transmission and brake system knowledge.
• Multi-meter basic electrical values.
• Knowledge in vehicle electrical circuit diagram.
• NITEC in Automotive Technology or former NTC 3/2 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or NTC 3/2
