More Jobs at: www.blueboxjobs.comOnly Singaporeans/PRs are eligibleKey Responsibilities:Tendering & Procurement:Prepare, review, and analyze tender documents and contracts.Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers during the tender process.Evaluate and negotiate bids to ensure compliance and value for money.Payment Process Management:Oversee preparation, validation, and submission of interim and final payment applications.Verify contractors’ claims and payment certificates.Manage the variation orders and adjustments as per contract requirements.Scope Tracking & Change Management:Monitor project deliverables and track scope changes.Ensure all changes are properly documented and costed.Work closely with project managers to control costs and avoid scope creep (which means uncontrolled changes or continuous growth in a project's scope).Reporting & Documentation:Maintain up-to-date records of all QS activities.Provide regular cost reports and updates to stakeholders.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.Stakeholder Coordination:Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and clients for project success.Attend meetings and present on cost and scope status as needed.Key Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.At least 7-10 years of relevant QS experience, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sectors.Strong knowledge of tendering and procurement processes.Experience managing payment cycles, claims, and scope variations.Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.Proficiency in QS software (such as CostX, Candy, or similar tools).Familiarity with FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of contract (these are standard contract templates widely used in the construction industry).
