The Energy Research Institute @ NTU ( ) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.Key Responsibilities:Setup rigorous protocols and characterize composition of silicon solar panels and their componentsDevelop and execute experiments aimed at the extraction and recovery of metals from silicon solar panelsCurating and managing experimental data, and assist in preparation of reports, presentations, technological disclosures and manuscriptsBe in charge of laboratory equipment and maintenanceConduct trainings and mentoring of staff, interns and students when requiredTake up additional responsibilities by being part of laboratory safety and management teamJob Requirements:PhD in chemistry/engineering/material science or related fields is required.Familiarity with material characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence, Inductively-coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy would be advantageous.1-2 years of working experience is preferable.
