- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to commodity trading activities, risk management, and financial reporting.
- Evaluate existing CTRM systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Design and implement solutions within CTRM systems to enhance trading strategies, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of CTRM systems and tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation including business process flows, system configurations, and user manuals.
- Partner with IT teams and vendors to customize CTRM solutions, integrate with other systems, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in commodity trading and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on CTRM systems, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize trading operations, minimize risks, and maximize profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CTRM certification) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the commodity trading industry, with a focus on CTRM systems.
- Strong understanding of commodity markets, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in using CTRM systems such as OpenLink Endur, Allegro, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results within specified timelines.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with SQL, VBA, or other programming languages is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., Dodd-Frank, EMIR) governing commodity trading operations is desirable.
