Partner Development Manager, Payment Methods

- Identify opportunities and manage negotiation, partner onboarding and partnership development for new and existing payment method partners
- Understand our partners' strategic priorities, challenges, and internal roadmaps; regularly communicate insights and recommendations to Stripe product stakeholders
- Develop and grow Stripe's relationships with partners, identifying partner stakeholders who will champion Stripe, and building alignment between Stripe and our partners
- Support GTM distribution of some of our more important payment methods on Stripe, working closely with both the partner and our Product Sales team to drive enablement and co-selling. Provide guidance and support to equip internal Stripe teams with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively sell third-party products
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of both deal processes and ongoing partner management and distribution initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in go-to-market growth, partnerships, business development, corporate development or related field
- 3+ years of experience related to payments and/or ecommerce
- Thorough understanding of payment method dynamics and business models
- Preferred experience executing go-to-market strategies, including distribution of third-party partners and increasing engagement and share of wallet
- Exhibits an operationally focused mindset, with an ability to navigate complex relationship dynamics by setting clear expectations, and running a tight processes
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities and drive creative solutions and commitment to a shared goal
- Experience working in a product centric environments with significant internal and external dependencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally across a wide variety of functions
- Strong agency, can handle ambiguity in a fast-moving organization, and thrives on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
